This test gives an estimate, not an official certificate. For a university application or visa you'll need an accredited exam such as Goethe-Institut, telc or ÖSD.
About this test
The test estimates your German on the CEFR scale using questions on vocabulary, grammar and reading comprehension, from A1 („Ich komme aus …“) up to B2 (Konjunktiv II and idioms).
It is adaptive, like our app: each correct answer moves you up a level, each mistake moves you down. That's why up to 14 questions are enough for a realistic first estimate.
Everything runs in your browser. Your answers are not saved or sent anywhere, and the result appears only on this page.
