By downloading or using German with Levels, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own language learning. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or its content.
3. Learning content & accuracy
We work hard to keep our German content correct and helpful, but language is nuanced and we cannot guarantee that every translation, example or explanation is perfect or fits every context. The app is a learning aid and is not a substitute for a certified course, teacher, or official examination preparation.
4. Your account
You can use the app without an account. If you create one, you’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Purchases
Core learning is free to start. If we offer paid features in the future, such as a one-time (lifetime) unlock or a subscription, the price and terms will be shown clearly in the app before you buy. Purchases are processed by the relevant app store and are also subject to that store's terms. Subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically unless cancelled in your app store account settings. Refund requests are handled by the app store in line with its policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app in any unlawful way, to disrupt its operation, or to attempt to access data that isn’t yours.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, mascot, audio, illustrations and learning content are owned by German with Levels or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reuse them without permission.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes & termination
We may update the app and these terms over time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are misused. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
