1. Acceptance
By downloading or using German with Levels, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own language learning. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or its content.
3. Learning content & accuracy
We work hard to keep our German content correct and helpful, but language is nuanced and we cannot guarantee that every translation, example or explanation is perfect or fits every context. The app is a learning aid and is not a substitute for a certified course, teacher, or official examination preparation.
4. Your account
You can use the app without an account. If you create one, you’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Purchases
Core learning is free to start. Paid features — currently auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock a level or all levels — are shown with their price and terms in the app before you buy. Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store and are also subject to Apple’s terms; we use RevenueCat to keep track of what you are entitled to. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store account settings. Refunds — including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases — are handled by Apple in line with its policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app in any unlawful way, to disrupt its operation, or to attempt to access data that isn’t yours.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, mascot, audio, illustrations and learning content are owned by German with Levels or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reuse them without permission.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence — if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you always keep those protections and may bring disputes before the courts of your home country.
9. Changes & termination
We may update the app and these terms over time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are misused. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
