Which test should I take?
Take the A1 grammar test day by day while you are working through A1. Each of the 15 days checks exactly three grammar topics with 40 small tasks, and every answer comes with a one-line explanation. Pass a day with 32 of 40 points and move on.
Continue with A2, then B1.1, B1.2 and B1.3. Each B1 part has 24 days and 960 tasks. Your best scores are saved on this device, so you can always see where you left off.

Frequently asked questions
Are these tests official exams?
No. They are free practice tools. For an official certificate you need an accredited exam such as Goethe-Institut, telc or ÖSD; these tests are good preparation for the grammar parts of those exams.
Do I need an account?
No. All tests run entirely in your browser. Scores and progress are stored only on your device, and nothing is sent to a server.
In which order should I use the tests?
Practise the grammar test for your level day by day alongside your course. Between test days, the free short stories give you reading practice built from the same course vocabulary.
